How companies are verified

  • Korean companies will be checked against Korean registration records — the Business Registration Number, and the Corporate Registration Number where relevant — not the Australian Business Register.
  • Manufacturer, exporter or distributor status, manufacturing location, certifications and export experience will be recorded with the source, reviewer and date of each check.
  • This process is being prepared and is not yet in use.

Current limitations

  • Korean market localisation will be carried out after market entry, with exporters, manufacturers, trade bodies, startup institutions and sector partners.
  • No partnerships are in place.
