WASITRA

How Wasitra works

From signal to outcome, in five stages.

Each stage is recorded, so what was found, checked and decided can be shown afterwards.

01 · Opportunity intelligence

Detect demand

Wasitra collects public contract awards from government procurement systems on a fixed schedule. Tender notices follow as each source is connected. Each record is scored by fixed rules: what is being bought, where, at what value, and how far the market can supply it.

Award-derived procurement intelligence. A contract award means the winner now has to buy equipment, materials and services. Those follow-on needs are recorded as anticipated procurement — evidence that buying is likely, never presented as an open tender or a contract.

Portals that can only be crawled are read once their terms allow it and a person has switched them on.

02 · Verified sourcing

Verify evidence

A company is checked against the business register of its own country (in Australia, the ABN must be active) and against what it publishes about itself. A listing written by somebody else does not count.

Every supplier record carries one of four states:

Verified
Confirmed against an official business register and the company's own published pages.
Candidate
Found and plausible, with verification still under way. Never presented as verified.
Unreviewed
On the register, not yet checked.
Withheld
The checks did not hold. Not presented to buyers.

Before an introduction, names are screened against the Australian consolidated sanctions list.

03 · Human-reviewed matching

Match supply

Suppliers are ranked on what they make, where they can ship and the evidence behind them. A person reviews every shortlist before a buyer sees it, and the company’s name follows an agreed introduction.

04 · Deal management

Manage the deal

Requests for quotation, supplier quotes, introductions and agreements are kept in one record for each deal. Every message to a buyer or supplier is drafted first and sent only when a person approves it.

05 · Outcomes

Measure the outcome

Each opportunity is followed to a result: won, lost or withdrawn. An identified opportunity is reported as an opportunity, never as a contract or as revenue.
